Security company Symantec has two Norton Security products to offer. First there’s Norton Security, a tool that offers powerful protection against viruses, spyware, malware, dangerous websites, identity theft, and other security threats. Then there’s Norton Security with Backup, a tool that offers powerful protection against all sorts of security threats and also offers 25GB of cloud storage space that can be used to securely back up photos, movies, documents, and other files.

Norton Security and Norton Security with Backup are available for multiple platforms: Microsoft Windows (XP SP3, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1; 32- and 64-bit editions); Apple OS X (current and previous two versions of Mac OS X) and Apple iOS (iOS 6 or newer); Google Android (Android 2.3 Gingerbread or newer).

A setup wizard will help you install Norton Security on a Windows-powered PC. To complete the installation process and to activate the 30-day trial, you will have to sign into your Norton Account. If you don’t have an account, you can easily create a new Norton account. When you’re done with the installation and you run Norton Security for the first time, you will be presented with a Product Tour that quickly presents Norton Security’s interface.

Speaking about the interface, it is divided in 4 sections. Here’s a quick look at these 4 sections:
Security – scan your PC, check for Norton Security updates, play with some advanced security settings.
Identity – securely store data in a vault, generate secure passwords, access advanced safe browsing settings.
Performance – optimize disk, clean files, manage startups, view performance graphs.
More Norton – install this product on additional devices, manage your Norton subscriptions, sign up for Norton Family, start using Norton Identity Safe Mobile.

Because it also has backup functionality to offer, Norton Security with Backup features 5 sections on its interface. there's an extra Backup section that allows you to run a backup job, restore files, manage backup sets, and buy more online storage space.

As mentioned at the start, Norton Security provides powerful protection against all sorts of threats. It protects against viruses, spyware, and other security threats in real time. It features a firewall that protects against hacker attacks, internet threats, and email threats. It prevents malware programs and malicious websites from using browser vulnerabilities to attack you. It protects your identity while you browse the web. It detects and warns you about fraudulent and potentially dangerous websites. It protects against potentially dangerous downloads.

You can use Norton Security for free for an evaluation period of 30 days.
Norton Security with Backup is also free to use for a trial period of 30 days.

Efficiently protect your computer, your data, and your identity! Norton Security is a powerful security solution that will protect against all sorts of security threats.
